What we collect

Split Easy Tip does not ask for or collect personal information. There is no sign-up, no login, and no contact form.

Your calculator entries

Bill amounts, sales tax, tip percentages, currency choice, and the number of people are held only in your browser's memory while the page is open. They are not saved to a database, not written to storage, and not sent to any server. Closing or reloading the page clears them.

Cookies

The calculator itself does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may process standard technical request information, such as IP address and browser type, in order to serve the page and protect the service.

Third parties

The site currently uses no advertising network and no third-party analytics. If advertising or analytics is added in the future, those providers may use cookies or similar technologies, and this policy will be updated to describe that before it goes live.

Children

The site is a general-purpose calculator and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the site changes. The version published here is always the current one.
